Your source for commentary on Sports from an urban female point of view; meshed with the joints on hip hop and R&B albums that are notable but never make commercial radio as singles. Somebody's gotta talk about it so why not ME?This site is the foreground for great things to come with me combining both my passions in music and sports. Look out for Jonesin' Enterprises in the next couple years.. we takin' ova! Sports from an Urban female perspective.. so you can take it or you can leave it. I love love love football as you can see from my meez. I also love basketball boxing track & field and volleyball. So that about wraps up the sports that you will see talked about here... So sorry if you like nascar baseball hockey or golf.. this is not the place for you. I'm a diehard dallas cowboy fan but because of my mom and stepfather the bears have a special place in my heart. Also spent some time in carolina so I like watching the panthers play as well. Actually I will watch just about any football game. Not a huge NBA fan as of late but I rock with the Nets. I want to know how my male readers feel about this. What do you really want? Do you prefer your guy space and would rather your lady not be in to sports? Would you want a lady that can go toe to toe with you on stats play by play etc? Or Would you rather have a girl that's not necessarily a sports fan but appreciates sports and will take the time to watch a game with you even if she's not interested? Here is the real deal for all the men so they wont be duped by the female imitators that dont really like sports that are moreso on a mission to get married. Women who say. “I love sports!” are lying. Girls who ask you what time the game is on without specifying which game they’re talking about are not. And the latter would be me! Honestly it doesn't bother me if my female friend enjoys watchign sports or not. Since I've really never had one who I can remember was a big hoop or football fan like me. I wouldn't know the difference anyways. The Football Booty... Hmmm... Nah. I'm joking... I actually act nothing like a girl when I am watching the game but it does help to get my homegirls to watch with me.. lol Michael JordanAfter the GameEmmitt SmithAfter the gameMichael JohnsonAfter the RaceDeion SandersAfter the gameMichael IrvinAfter the GameKeyshawn JohnsonAfter the game Emmitt Smith - My favorite Cowboy of all timeJordan - College JerseyTony Romo - The dimples made me buy it.. lolD. "The Iraq war | Why they should stay | Economist.com" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-03-03 21:08:46

This newspaper was not wowed by either man. The go around General Petraeus put on the military achievements of the surge exaggerated the gains. Mr Crocker's claim to see a spirit of sectarian reconciliation bubbling just beneath the surface of Iraq's stalemated politics was even less convincing. But on one point Mr Crocker was surely right. If America removes its forces while Iraq remains in its present condition the Iraqi future is indeed likely to be disastrous. For that reason above any other and despite misgivings about the possibility of change surface modest success any time soon our own view is that America (and Britain) ought to stay in Iraq until conditions improve.

"?The Approach?; truth, pragmaticism, and feelings" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-21 08:36:48

Today the question is not so much “Is it true?” or even “Does it work?” but “Does it conclude good?”…To approach people through their feelings a way that was almost taboo in the fifties is not wrong. We do not pretend that feelings are the most important things: they are merely the most important to them at present. If they conclude good about the gospel we present to them they are going to want to find out if it works and if it is true! It is simply the wise starting point for reaching many modern people.” Green? I am - want to talk about it leave a comment… FYI - Green can adress peoples feelings without giving them merely a ‘feel good’ gospel. The key is understanding that Green’s concern here is our original approach to our non-Christian family member or friend. Not the midwife delievery of the gospel which comes latter (but our come is move of embodying the gospel to them)…
